Context & Challenge

Assessing soil health means connecting biological and physicochemical analyses, satellite data, environmental indicators and information from different stakeholders. The challenge was to turn this scientific and organisational complexity into a unified system that could provide understandable evidence without sacrificing robustness or traceability.

Objectives

Create an accessible and scalable platform for organising environmental data, monitoring its evolution over time and connecting fields, companies, products and value chains. An environment designed to support decisions, reporting and verification processes based on structured information.

Solution

We developed the B4Soil digital ecosystem together with Abit Agritech, translating its scientific methodology into clear and coherent consultation journeys. The platform centralises data from the different stakeholders, represents fertility, water, climate and biodiversity indicators, enables comparisons between years and makes relationships between territories, companies, products and fields explorable. An automated flow also connects SharePoint to the AWS infrastructure, turning operational data and content into up-to-date information available on the web.

Result

B4Soil now has a digital infrastructure that makes soil health readable, comparable and measurable over time. Data previously distributed across different sources and stakeholders converges into a shared system ready to support environmental assessments, reporting and verification processes.

Process

Working closely with Abit Agritech allowed us to turn methodology, data structure and communication needs into a tangible digital experience. Information architecture, platform development, data pipeline construction and experience iterations progressed together, keeping scientific accuracy and ease of use aligned.
